Mustafa Koç is a professor at the Department of Sociology at Toronto Metropolitan University. He received his BA at Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey, MA at the University of Waterloo and Ph.D. at the University of Toronto. His research and teaching interests involve food studies, food security, food policy, globalization and sociology of migration.
